TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK: GIFT 2

Today's idea for Teacher Appreciation Week was to send some supplies the teacher could use in the classroom.

I completely stole this idea from Eighteen25....thanks girls!!  All items came from Wal-Mart (even the box).  You gotta love 1-stop shopping!

One of my readers shared this great idea with me yesterday.  Very cute, you should definately check it out.  Thanks, Jamie!

If you haven't had a chance to pick up your child's teacher a gift this week or just don't have the funds, don't worry, it's only Tuesday & teachers enjoy a homemade card just as much :)  Grab some paper, crayons, scissors and a glue stick to see what magic your child can create!

Today lili brought her teachers a cake (bought from walmart) and made a label that said "you take the cake". Thursday I have pair of scissors for this: http://www.skiptomylou.org/2011/04/25/embellished-scissors-teacher-appreciation/. Walmart actually has ones that are already embellished and look similar to this for $3 a pair (hollar!). Friday she is bringing a potted plant with a saying something like "you have helped me bloom this year..."

I one-stop shopped this year, everything was purchased from walmart. With the new baby my creative juices and energy are limited.

Oooh...I bet they loved this beth. I love how the colors of the supplies matched the fabric! Wait...of course it does! :-) Love it!
