RACHEL'S TOTE BAG

A couple of weeks ago I made a tote bag for my SIL, Rachel, for her birthday.  She picked out the fabric...

I based the tote bag off of this free download from allpeoplequilt.com.  Of course, I couldn't just make it the way it was intended.  I made it quite a bit larger (to fit Rachel's needs), added pockets inside & also included a magnetic snap.  I am pleased with the way it turned out (and so was she!).

I may just have to make one for myself!

What a nice sized bag...nice work altering the pattern to meet your SIL's needs...I am always too afraid to do that! Love the colors.

Wow! That's great--I bet she was over the moon with it! I see so many epic bags around, I must get up some nerve and have a go myself.
